Social Media for the people! But, which demographic? Well, everyone is welcome if they are keen to learn more about Reggae, in all its forms, especially if they are based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire.
Guerrilla Dub System have started a Facebook Group called HGT Reggae Platform and it is livening up.
The idea is that all of the Selectors and gigging bands in Harrogate, the people with something to say who live in Harrogate and love Ska, Dub, Roots, Dancehall, Calypso and even Socca have a place to meet up online and promote their events, releases etc. A centralised registry.
I have invited a few selectors and bands – if I have not invited you and you are in a group or play on your own then please let me know; I have sent out all of the invites, at the time of writing, so if you do not have the invite then please let me know and I will invite you.
It has great potential – let’s see if people take me up on it.
